I don't have the receipt with me, but I thought it was $99 at Best Buy. Maybe I'm wrong though. I'm sure it was marked $99 and the website has it at that, but I'm honestly not sure how much I paid.

^^ Yes you can still play on LIVE using a firmware mod for now. As I understand it though, the new dashboard update coming out soon will not only be able to detect modded DVD drive firmware, but ban your console from LIVE permanently
