There are several very very sweet cats and dogs at the Harnett County shelter right now with an adoption fee of $20.

Even though many of them haven't been at the shelter but a few days, their time is up first thing Wednesday AM if they are not adopted or fostered by 4 pm Tuesday the 29th (tomorrow).

I'm happy to report many of the animals are spoken for, but these little guys are going to be left out this afternoon if nobody will step up to foster or adopt them. Jessica is going to pull animals and bring them back to Raleigh at 6 tonight if you email her by 12:30 and pay the $20 to reimburse her: her email is jkstall@ncsu.edu

I'm happy to report that while not all of the animals made it this week, a lot of them did thanks to kind-hearted people who agreed to adopt or foster them. please, please spay and neuter your animals. An unspayed female and her offspring can produce 420000 babies over 7 years and there are always more animals that can't find homes, so even if you find homes for yours, you're putting out a few others from a home that might be willing to take them.
