I took 306 a few semesters ago and it's a pretty easy class.

306 and 342 are the most interesting of that bunch. Crimininolgy is typically taught by graduate students and both Dennis and Antonaccio are graduate students jfyi. Lilley is the associate department head and Terry is a visting lecturer.

I'm in 306 with Dennis now, have been to class about 3 times other than to take tests, and that was 3 times more than I needed to go. She teaches everything directly from the book, so reading that is all that is necessary. Our test today took me about 15 minutes and I missed possibly 3 questions (out of 47).

I found Terry impossible to pay attention to. She was all over the place.

Maybe because it was my final semester of college.. I don't know, I just think I wasn't fond of her teaching style.

Lots of good professors/instructors in the SOC department, though.

criminology would be ok i guess...i'm sure you could learn about laws and shit

my own personal preference based on "how interesting i think it will be" is 342 or 351

out of all those i feel 351 would be most useful to me in the future

[Edited on November 7, 2007 at 5:50 AM. Reason : packbackers gave away free text books not long ago and i got like 10...one was on criminology]
