There are several really sweet and good looking animals at the Harnett County Shelter that will be euthanized if they do not get adopted or fostered by 4pm tomorrow (Tuesday). Here's the link to their page, and I know there is a group who will pick them up and bring them to the Triangle tomorrow night if you're interested. Adoption fee is only $20.

*suggestion: you can always adopt an animal temporarily from the shelter and sell/give it to a friend or family member so it will keep the animal out of danger of being euthanized by the shelter!

Please consider adopting, or spread the word fast - save these precious lives!

Why was this thread not made sooner? If my husband and I didn't just adopt a puppy we would def have taken at least one of them. I was all tearing up looking at all of those kitties and puppies.

if you're serious about adopting an animal, DON'T contact me...I have nothing to do with the adoption of these animals. Calling the shelter would probably be the fastest method of communication, I'd imagine.

Hurry people, time is running out for these animals! Ask your friends, family members, classmates, etc Tuesday (today!)!...

this happens all the time. I don't want to sound mean or anything, because everyone here knows how much I like puppies and kitties, but sometimes there is nothing you can do about these animals. I've seen this thread recreated several times already, there should just be an "official save the puppies/kitties thread" that is bumped every now and then when someone notices it is getting close to that time. But sadly, they won't all be saved. Good effort on Blroomdancer's part.

To the one who said their lives aren't precious, what life isn't? Some of these are baby animals, of course, they are precious.
