where I came to the realization that
"damn I actually know what I'm talking about here"
I suppose the fact I'm approaching my masters should have indicated that to me but I just had a moment where I felt old and responsible. 10/30/2007 12:03:56 AM

next step is being in a job, having the respect of your customers and peers, and realizing that you know enough about the position that you could sit here and hang out for a few years, become an industry leader, and have to make the decision to accept your roll as a doer, or move up and become a leader. even though this entails going into new territory (again), and relearning everything from scratch.
change is the key to avoiding complaicency and your skills becomming a commodity to your managers and customers 10/30/2007 6:41:36 AM

i hate that moment when you realize you don't really want the job but it still pays well enough that you're willing to hear them through on it in the hopes it'll start to sound better
and then it does sound better but you don't get the job because you seemed disinterested earlier on
