its really easy on PSP if your firmware is 1.50 or based off of it (Custom Firmware 3.40 OE, 3.52m33, etc), you just need to download the emulators and put them in the GAME folder on your PSP and they'll run right from the memory stick.

if you dont have those firmwares you need to downgrade to 1.50, then you can upgrade to a custom firmware. your downgrading method will depend on what firmware you have installed. if its above 3.50, you'll need someone with a pandora battery

Førte, you really need to read up on the advancements in PSP hacking.

This isn't true anymore.

There wasn't a 1.6 firmware for the PSP. you talking about the ps3 firmware? Currently there isn't a way to run emulators on the PS3, but on the PSP it is as easy as Førte said.

nah, I don't mind. I always try to get people to do it their selves cause I'm really fuckin' lazy.

But some people that need the pandora battery solution to downgrading aren't gonna be able to do it themselves no matter how many tutorials they read.

I did pandora's on my friends PSP a few weeks and it was fairly daunting but not that bad since I can read.

Pandora's is a little tricky that first time, but after that it's a piece of cake. I've done over a dozen now (mostly slims). For the most part, all the people I've done it on have been people that wouldn't otherwise have access to a pandora battery.

Well the time I did it I used my own battery and made it a bootable pandora's and got my friends phat downgraded. Then I had to undo the pandora on my battery so i could use sleep mode again.

You can hack the older PSPs to basically ignore the Pandora battery and treat is as a regular one, FYI. I just keep a pandora in my old one and use it whenever I need to hack a new one.

An emulator for ps3 would be pretty cool 'cause then you could play games on it.

Yea, that's what I did, but it doesn't support sleep mode.

o rly?

Shows you how much I use my old psp. Ever since I got the slim, that's all I use now. I really need to sell my old one while it's still worth a little something.
