I've upgraded to Leopard and now when I attempt to delete an e-mail from my unity account I get the error:
The IMAP command "UID COPY" (to Deleted Messages) failed for the mailbox "INBOX" with server error: Mailbox does not exist.
However, everything was fine before Leopard, any ideas on how to solve this?11/14/2007 10:35:57 AM |

Yeah, none of those worked.
I might have to throw something out to the Unity people. 11/14/2007 11:07:38 AM |

mytwocents: Mail 3.0 is fast for me, and honestly haven't encountered that problem. i can only think to make sure that you have your mailboxes matched up correctly, and doing this would probably work best by deleting the account from Mail and redoing it. wish i could help more, gl
^ evan, what are you running leopard on?

I am also having problems with Mail 3. I have tried to set it up with webmail. I can receive mail but it will not send it back out. I have it set up as an IMAP and my internet access is road runner. Any suggestions? 11/14/2007 4:27:06 PM |

I just unchecked the "store deleted messages" on server option, just have it delete them locally. 11/14/2007 4:46:07 PM |

^ dang u should be fine... hm
jmmurphy - u need to check the outgoing server address... usually starts with smtp, you need to use ur ISP's (RoadRunner) smtp out address 11/15/2007 1:21:38 AM |

I did the same and it worked, but it still seems a bit odd.11/15/2007 7:04:45 AM |

Fry- could it be something else? I have the correct ISP address for road-runner (smtp-server.nc.rr.com ). Could it poccibly be something with timewarner? I donlt understand why it is not working now, it was working before I installed leopard. 11/15/2007 10:41:24 AM |
