I think I write papers pretty slow but I can manage about a page an hour. So by Tuesday getting it done would be no problem.

^^ getting the info from the articles and reading is whats most time consuming. The writing aspect is easy, research and thinking about what to write is what takes the longest.

Go to the Writing and Speaking Tutorial Center if you're just banging your head up against a wall. They'll help you work your ideas and get you started on an outline. If you can get an outline, you can write the damned paper.

writing the paper isn't the problem. i have to read/skim through ~10 academic journals/titles to find information to use in the paper, and i can't get started on the paper without finding the information i want to use first. so it's like i'm useless until i can get to those books.

If I have learned anything in the past 4 1/2 years, it is that you're better off BS'ing the paper than actually putting a lot of time in it. My grades on papers seem to drop exponentially with the more time I spend on it.

werd, i'm startin to pick up on that actuall. i BSed my first two papers and got 93s on them both. then i spent more time editing and reviewing my last paper and got a 78... donno what happenned there.
