I was on Lake Gaston a couple months ago with my friends trying out this new boat he had. It was raining but we were already on the lake and were like fuck it. So we sat out in the storm eating jello and playing horseshoes when it started thundering. We thought shit was getting pretty bad but as soon as we started back i got struck by lightning and got sent like 50 feet into the air and into the lake. I think i got attacked by leeches but for the most part i was ok. i made sure not to pee in the water because of this fish that follows urine to its source and swims up your urethra and shoots its spines out. but anyway after a couple trips to the hospital things were pretty rad and we could play horse shoes again

A guy I dated in high school was electrocuted by a 100,000 volt power line . He was at the UNC hospitals for awhile in a coma, his lungs collapsed, and his skin on his arm grew to the side of his body when it was healing or something. Everyone thought he was going to die while he was in the coma then all the sudden one day he just came out of it. He is fine now. Crazy huh. I heard right after it happened his body was just laying on the ground smoking.

A few years ago when I was working at a theater I was adjusting a light with the top half of my body leaning off the cats. Apparently something that shouldn't have been bare was, and when I touched it I got a pretty bad shock. I guess it didn't hurt too much, really, but it made me numb for a second and scared the shit out of me because half my body was hanging off and I was 3 stories or so up. I made other people adjust those for a long time.
