I found a Flash animation I want to adapt to use on my website. Is it possible to use the structure of it, but modify the content so I'm good with copyright stuff, or do I just have to start from scratch?

Anyone do that kind of work? If so, PM me, I need to hire someone.

is it a .swf file or a .fla file?

if its a .swf file you are screwed and have to start from scratch

if its a .fla file then you are good and you can open it in flash and edit the content.

If it is SWF google for a flash decompiler, although I have only had very limited luck with them. That would be your only shot. I have usually had to make more modifications than it would have taken from scratch.
