It ain't no joke I'd like to buy the world a toke And teach the world to sing in perfect harmony And teach the world to snuff the fires and the liars Hey I know it's just a song but it's spice for the recipe This is a love attack I know it went out but it's back. It's just like any fad it retracts before impact And just like fashion it's a passion for the with it and hip If you got the goods they'll come and buy it just to stay in the clique
[Chorus:] So don't delay act now supplies are running out Allow if you're still alive six to eight years to arrive And if you follow there may be a tomorrow But if the offer is shun you might as well be walkin' on the sun
Twenty-five years ago they spoke out and they broke out Of recession and oppression and together they toked And they folked out with guitars around a bonfire Just singin' and clappin' man what the hell happened Then some were spellbound some were hellbound Some they fell down and some got back up and Fought back 'gainst the melt down And their kids were hippie chicks all hypocrites Because fashion is smashin' the true meaning of it
[Repeat Chorus]
It ain't no joke when a mama's handkerchief is soaked With her tears because her baby's life has been revoked The bond is broke up so choke up and focus on the close up Mr. Wizard can't perform no godlike hocus-pocus So don't sit back kick back and watch the world get bushwhacked News at 10:00 your neighborhood is under attack Put away the crack before the crack puts you away You need to be there when your baby's old enough to relate
[Repeat Chorus]

yeah, i was thinking she meant surface temp, fuk
anyway, what do you think will end life first, a big red giant the sun depleting , or another mass extinction? btw according to a show i saw on ng, we are within the range of time for something cataclysmic to happen.
edit: we could never be killed by a bug red giant because we would die from the heat of the sun expanding in general for it even had a chance to harm life.

well since the sun isnt expected to go to its red giant phase for about 4 billion years, mass extinction is only slightly more likely statistically 11/25/2007 2:12:14 PM

the fissures in siberia are something scary to think about. a bubble of molten lava from the core of the earth could trigger another ice age. 11/25/2007 2:14:42 PM

actually i was talking like i was talking to people that know that the fissures in siberia and the bubble of molten lava are TWO DIFFERENT THINGS, and you would see that i was just naming a few dangers that exist here on earth.

yes is it possible, and it has already happened.

basically it a upward surge of molten rock from the mantle/outercore layer that breaks and melts the earth's surface that can last for 100s of millions of years, and the last one that happen spewed out enough molten rock to cover the usa 100 miles deep in molten rock. 11/25/2007 3:27:35 PM

a mantle plume is what is responsible for hot spot volcanism, such as the type that occurs in hawaii and iceland. there are mantle plumes that happen today.
sometimes you get what they call flood basalts as a result of this type of volcanism. (there are examples of this all over the world.) 11/25/2007 5:12:08 PM
