As critical as we all were of that piece of shit, anytime a coach butchers a season that badly she deserves a thread.

She's got a long way to go before she gets a free pass for mailing in games like that. Three fucking wins aren't good enough this season.

Is it possible for us to field a varsity lacrosse team instead of a volleyball team or possibly split funding since breaking .500 looks almost downright impossible given how run down the program has become?

Don't ask relevant questions. And really, a history of being terrible doesn't mean that is what we should continue to aim for. Her job descirption surely doesn't state for her to be as terrible a coach as possible.

in her defense, 9 of the 17 players are freshman and they all have talent (and there are some lookers). there were always at least 3 to 4 freshmen on the court at one time. this is also her first recruiting class. if she can keep them around (dont piss them off, which she does to some) i believe there will be a turn-around. no coach can come in and turn a horrible team into a good team in 2 years.

You guys all talk like you really care about the volleyball program. I dont know about you, but how many teams have you attended? She needs to be fired? Excuse me who could take a losing program to the top in 1 year? Her recruiting class this year was a lot better than the past... Did you look at teh scores of the games? The team has made major improvements. And if any of you knew ANYTHING about volleyball you would see that. That the majority of the games were very close. Some played to 4 games. If you look at statistics, we are NOT bottom of the acc in everything anymore, blocks, passing... and other things. And I know all of you "state fans" are going to say, yeah well her record doesn't show it... well let me tell you something... it takes steady improvement to build a program.... she didn't even get to build it from scratch. So before you go start thinking that you all are hot stuff and could do better, why don't you ask to see if you could make it through a day of their workouts, or games.
