How in the hell do you not have your products online? I don't give a shit if you have online sales, but at least have your merchandise online. How could have not tapped into the Internet market yet? What the fuck do you think Al Gore invented it for?????????? You're "working" on getting online sales and catalog, wtf? the Internet wasn't invented yesterday.

I would think that 80% of GM customers don't shop on the net.
However, Bass Pro Shops is on the net. They need to step up their game. 11/30/2007 10:01:07 AM |

years ago gander mountain had a thriving catalog business to rival cabelas. cabelas bought their catalog business yet allowed them to keep gander mountain retail locations w/ the understanding that they would not conduct any business outside of retail locations (i.e. phone/net)11/30/2007 1:28:11 PM |

yeh, i read about that....
Quote : | "What ever happened to the Gander Mountain catalog? Gander Mountain sold its catalog business in April of 1996, and the buyer subsequently closed it down. At the same time, retail operations were sold to Holiday Companies. We are sorry, but Gander Mountain no longer carries a catalog of its products. We are, however, adding new store locations all the time. Visit our Store Locator there may be a new store near you." |
Quote : | "Can I order Gander Mountain merchandise on-line? We are working toward entering the direct selling business and look forward to selling hunting, fishing and camping products on our website in the future. Unfortunately we don't offer on-line merchandise or catalog sales at this time. In the mean time, we have dozens and dozens of retail locations that are loaded with our quality merchandise. For the location of the Gander Mountain store nearest you, please visit our Store Locator." |
thanks for the cabela's idea. i totally forgot about them11/30/2007 2:01:42 PM |

getting a new knife. I've got a Buck, Rush (spring assisted, 2.5") and I'm looking to replace it, cause about 1/2" of the tip has been broken off, and the spring doesn't always work right.
so i was gonna go with the same thing cause I loved that knife. I chose gander mtn cause it's where I got my first one for $40 (buck has it @ $80 on their site), and gander is the closest to home 11/30/2007 2:30:19 PM |

http://www.midwayusa.com kicks ass
Gander Mnt sucks ass. Their prices are high.
If you're looking for a knife there's always Beck's Cutlery in McGregor Village. I havent been there in a couple years but they have high end knives. 11/30/2007 4:06:17 PM |
