Anyone remember the name of the organization where you can donate your professional clothes to people who are trying to get a leg up and get a job that requires clothes they can't necessarily afford in great number right off the bat? ive got some decent shirts and a couple suits id like to see put to good use and i cant remember the name of the organization to look up more info about them. not talking about salvation army or goodwill, although that will be the alternative if i cant remember the name of this org.

anyone can afford a suit from salvation army or goodwill, most bums just choose not to spend money on a suit when they could by booze or crack

just sell the stuff if its nice enough (btw, what sizes are they? )

Dick.

http://www.cmtm.org/ is the one I've heard of, but that's not local or nationwide.

http://www.thewomensalliance.org/members.htm you might find something there.

whats wrong with salvation army or good will? I've got a few friends that have dropped off suits at those places that cost between $500-$800 new.

this is a program that specifically gets clothes to people who are actively trying to interview and are just down on their luck as far as affording anything close to "interview" ready clothes...just what i would rather do with my clothes if possible...goodwill and such anybody can buy them, which im not opposed to, i would just rather go this route first if possible.
