want to rent (or sublease) a 1 bedroom apartment. i would also consider one br in a 2 br apt.
complexes i like: ivy chase, the summit, clarion crossing, and i've heard really good things about drucker & falk properties (see lounge topic).
not: u- village, oaks, glen, woods or anything else preiss company, kensington park, lake park, in the ghetto (if i'm living alone i need to feel safe at home), also not in a 2 bedroom apartment with a guy roommate.
i got a letter on my door today that says i need to be out by the 19th due to construction (which i am questioning the legality of, since my lease doesn't end until the 31st). i can always rent a storage unit for a couple weeks to hold my stuff and stay at home if you don't have anything available that soon, but the sooner the better.
max $650.

If your lease isn't up until the 31st then they can't make you leave earlier . . . it would be illegal eviction.

how much stuff do you have? i just did paperwork on a 2 bedroom on gardner st. i have 3 pet birds and a full living room set though. i also know the unit downstairs is for lease too but i think those peeps won't be out until close to the end of the month.

i've got a couch, futon (that i want to sell), a coffee table, small round 4 chair dining table set, and all the kitchen accessories. but i figure if it's a big bedroom i can stick the couch, bed, tv & desk all in there.
private bath?

yeah i think i had a friend who used to live there. in the brick building on clark? sounds like the same place.
and i'd love to get rid of this futon, except it was my boyfriend's and he keeps saying they want the mattress back but he won't take it.

bump. i have a place in mind right now, but i haven't met to check it out yet. never hurts to have options.
still considering offers for 1br or 1 room in a 2 br w/a female roommate.
