Loaded vista and everything was good. Tried installing wireless adapter but there werent any drivers compatible with vista. After this, i tried installing a tv tuner. Turned off the computer, and now that im trying to load windos. i keep getting

Windows Rsume Loader

the last attempt to resume the system from its previous location failed. Attempt to resume again

Use th earrow keys to highlight your choice.)

Continue with system resume
Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu

..... The thing is, it wont let me chose any of it. It always freezes at this point. I took out any hardware that i didnt need like the tuner and the wireless adapter.

Ive rebooted like 15 times now and it keeps freezing at this point. I have guru so all my voltages are good for memory and cpu.

Did my hard drive crap out on me ? how can i check to see if its the hard drive and not something else ? .... and I just recently bought it. and it worked before I tried installing the peripherals.

Found your problem....

"Loaded vista"

but seriously, I'd go back with XP. Personal preference, and I got tired of all the BS with drivers and Vista wanting my permission for everything. Save the headaches.

there will be no way thru the bios. if you have anything on there you want, put the HD in another computer and get all your shit off of it. you might be able to reinstall without formatting but sounds like that's your best bet right now.
