These sound great! I got a different car so I no longer have a need for them. Very deep bass, amp is plenty of power to move these subs. Technical details available, just email me.

$250 or best offer for the combo. Amp and subs may be purchased separately if interested.

ok quick question - which would be better with 2 Kicker CompVR 12s (400 watts RMS), that Audiobahn amp or a Kicker ZX250.2 (250 RMS per channel) that I have?

if the Audiobahn will put out more- will you take 50 for it?

Im no expert at car audio, I just know I need a better amp

Same here, I'm no expert. As far as I know, a single-channel amp is best for subs. This A8000T is a mono amp, designed for subwoofers. It has served me very well, and was always a lot more power than I needed for 12's.

What is your problem with the Kicker amp? Not enough power? It could be wired such that you're not getting all 500 watts RMS out of it. Or maybe the Kicker's frequency range is not low enough to support 12's well (around 20 to 100 Hz in my experience).

plain and simple guys....

Each subwoofer has both a peak and an rms rating... The "RMS" rating is designed to be a benchmark for how much power the sub needs to perform at its designed level of output. If your subwoofer is 400watts rms.... then you should have 400watts running to that subwoofer otherwise it is underpowered.

That Kicker 2 channel is a dog among dogs in the amp world and audiobahn is always over rated. IF you want cheap power to run them- look for an MA monoblock amplifier- cheap and dump a ton of power.

Otherwise- PM MaximaDrvr --- I am sure he has something that will work better for ya.

The kicker is a better amp for the CVR subs than the Audiobahn.

This is an awsome deal for the subs alone, let alone the whole system. Type Rs are some probably the best subs in their price range.
