this time, the car is a 1979 model.

arrived in this condition:




the old header panel was busted up pretty bad on the LH side, and the LH fender took a hit as you can see. the good news- the car came with another fender, hood, header panel, spare front bumper, and enough spare bolts to put together two more cars. SO the only thing to do was reopen primers auto body and get to work... thursday night I cleaned the new header panel (which was yellow) and scuffed it and sprayed it white. friday assembled the header panel stuff and then yesterday with my expert assistant, primed the spare yellow fender and got to work swapping everything over....





still need to get some grilles that will fit, and need to prime the LH door and fender in white. paint will wait for now- as I also have to get the car running properly.
