I am of the opinion that this should not be called a "sweater vest":



1. The vests I've seen and worn are not pullovers--they have buttons in the front.

2. This should be called a sleeveless V-neck sweater. Not as catchy, though.

Like the ones worn by Charles Robinson in Night Court.
