Since school is out carmichael is closing at 6 and I don't get off work and at home until about that time, so is there a decent gym to lift weights at for a few weeks until school starts back? 12/17/2007 7:57:21 PM |

a few weeks being less than 2 months, I don't want to pay activations and enrollment fees. 12/17/2007 11:06:23 PM |

If it's just two weeks, hit up all the local gyms and tell them you are interested in joining. They will give you free passes. By the time you run out of passes, Carmicheal will be open again.

This is also a valid statement. No one needs machines, especially.

Find a park, rafter, swingset, or the bars outside of carmicheal, etc for pull ups. Use chairs for L dips. Throw in some burpees. For extra resistance, get some bands, a weight vest, or put some weight in a backpack.
Also throw some of this in http://www.dragondoor.com/articler/mode3/229/
http://www.simplefit.org is also a good resource

Yeah, try something that isn't your normal routine for a couple of weeks, it'll actually serve as extra motivation and will change things up for your body. 12/19/2007 11:28:38 AM |
