Dude, are you really trying to crack on a practice drum pad? It's not for a video game, it's made by yamaha, not sony or xbox. It's for the "drummer on the go" who doesn't want to lug a full drum set around with him. Anyways, thanks for all the worthless responses t-dub. I wasn't really taking it personally, I know of the relentless nature of this wonderful message board. Its just really sad that more people respond to a thread about a video game where you pretend to play musical instruments than actually playing instruments. As a matter of fact, did anyone think this thread was for an actual band (to reiterate, not a video game)???

once again you probably want to specific more specifically what kind of music you are playing. saying "rock" doesnt narrow it down hardly at all.

good point: alright, we play mostly original music that sounds like a mix between classic rock and alternative rock. For instance, we cover led zeppelin "dazed and confused" but we also cover nirvana "territorial pissings". We're also covering my chemical romance "sharpest lives", but we also play ac/dc "highway to hell" except faster, and darker if that's possible. We have 2 albums worth of original music, and we need a versatile bassist that can mesh with a variety of styles.

i'm not a great bassist (i play drums and guitar, bass is my weakest instrument), but i'd like to come out and jam at some point if we can work it out

between my two jobs, my main band, and a couple side projects i don't have a lot of time but i'm down for coming out to dick around

we play an alternative rock style with influences ranging from ac/dc to radiohead. It's like classic rock with an alternative twist. We play covers of led zeppelin, my chemical romance, the beatles, black sabbath, radiohead, nirvana, pearl jam, mutemath, and many others. Its a very interesting mix of new and old. High energy, with a heavy style. Some songs are more melodic, while others have a more distinct rhythm and simplistic nature. We try to take elements from music that we love and create our own unique style.
