if you have the 400 offer why does it matter? I only know of the deal because I purchased the laptop for myself about two weeks ago. Actually got it at 299 with a free 100 dollar mp3 player as well if you wanna know the skinny.

also i've used tww in the past 4 years for a few more things than pawning off my pos laptop so i guess that's why my count is a bit higher than yours.

took a bit of social engineering and it seems like a bunch of work but it was relatively painless and also worth it....our markets are all 449 and my store wouldn't price match another region. I took it home and called customer service and got a rep that didn't give a fuck so he sent me a 50.00 gift card to make up the difference. 399.

looked back in the slickdeals thread and saw the best buy "Sign up for internet and get 100 off a laptop and 100 off an mp3 player" deal so I signed up my grandparents (TWC not available) and got the coupon barcode. Brought the laptop back to bestbuy and explained to the service rep i had just found out about the promotion and it would be great if i could take advantage of it etc etc. Asked her if she would mind returning the laptop and letting me immediately rebuy it. Hesitated for like 5 seconds but i was like "plz leik just try 4 me?" and she returned it, scanned the barcode boom -100 instantly "Wait, can you throw this mp3 player on too?" boom -100 = 373.xx As I was walking out of the store I dialed TWC and explained my grandparents decided to stick with dialup and asked the rep could he please cancel the order/inquiry/installation. No more than 30 seconds later it was done.
