check craigs list- there are always good deals on weight sets- that's where i got all of my weight lifting equipment (well theRE and the main supplier for peak fitness gyms, but i got in touch with him through craigslist)

I'm also looking for an over-the-door pull-up bar. Not the kind that screws into the door frame, but the kind that slips over the top of the frame.
