I had to repeat a few classes, which was better than passing with a C or D because I ended up learning it the second time around. 1/1/2008 3:09:23 PM |

Depends.
I'm one of those people who really did just take a semester off. If that counts as having to take two tries, I'm guilty. It doesn't really feel like it took two tries, though.
I'd never really thought about how my life answers this question.

i just got my eligibility back to go on campus at a UNC system school after i finally got cleared of that hacking bullshit
i doubt i'll finish, just because i'd likely take a pay cut going entry level with my major. and i dont need a degree to do the continuing education requirements for my job (unlike a few others that ive heard of)
i might do night classes for a few years just to finish, i was almost done. but its no big deal. 3/23/2008 12:23:46 AM |

i came VERY close to dropping out a few times over my junior year. i was barely passing, going to class just for tests, and had absolutely no interest in a college education. for some reason, i decided to stick with it and matured/grew up a little before my senior year. i'm almost positive had i taken any time off i wouldn't have gone back.
looking back, i'm really glad i finished even though i didn't take advantage of things at all. on the flipside, i've got a lot of fond memories, good friends, etc. that i wouldn't have if i had made school my top priority. 3/23/2008 12:49:32 AM |
