I think this is what the presidential race will reduce to if barak obama wins the dem nomination
i thinik this will play right into the republicans hands as many people not ready for a black pres
will come out of the woodwork to vote for the republican candidate
i'd think even some on the dem side would vote republican to avoid this

on the other hand i dont see black people getting behind barak to think he can balance this out on his side

I also don't agree with this. In fact, even if this were true, I think that number would be far dwarfed by the number of moderate Republicans who can easily look past the color of his skin and will vote for him because of the chicken-shit that they have for choices.

even if black people don't get behind him to balance out the number of ignorant racist white people who would vote against him for that reason alone, there will still be far more white people who don't give a shit what color he is.

Obama is easily the best chance for the Democrats to win. He will take nearly all of the Democrat vote, most of the Independent vote, and some of the moderate Republican vote.
Clinton would take most of the Democrat vote, very little of the Independent vote, and nearly none of the Republican vote.
