I just don't hope they do something shitty with it. Hollywood has had a way of murdering my favorite movies... If it's the same director, I imagine everything will be just fine (and just as wonderfully confusing <3 ).

The early days of x-files were simply the best. One of my favorite episodes was where Scully was retelling this story to one of the FBI guys (it might've been skinner) and kept replacing people's swears with "bleepin" and "bleep" and made Mulder scream like a girl when he saw the "Bleepin dead alien".

i like it, although several of the first season episodes are stinkers, especially the alaskan ice core project and the NASA episode.

The "black guy" was X, who gave Mulder information after Deep Throat was taken out.

The MIB on The X-Files were in "Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space'", played by Jesse Ventura and Alex Trebek. Not sure how you have an "IRL" MIB on a fictional TV show though.
