Yes. I (Matt) am a friend of Ali's (NC State student and SAS employee). He let me post here. I own the condo. Do you know anyone that might be interested? Walking distance (2-3min) to Glenwood S. Great spot for 2 students, a couple, or ....

what an enticing ad.

You could at least cut and paste the details. Most people are too lazy or don't care enough to click a link.

Yeah, 1750 a month is a little ridic....I'm sure its great, but it's not THAT close to bars and I don't think I'd want to walk home at 2 am through that area getting back.

Good luck though!

How much closer do you want to be to GSouth bars? The only closer choices are the newer construction condos where you'll pay $1600 for 800-1200 sq ft. This one is 2100 sq ft.

That walk scares you? Wow - ummm... you are a pussy. I did it for four years - no issues.

Yeah this place is expensive for students - but I was hoping someone might know someone that might be interested. Worth a try. The rate of 0.83 per sq ft is actually pretty cheap for downtown Raleigh.

I guess you are talking about the 200 yard (?) stretch on peace until you reach Jersey's Mikes (and CMill)? Not sure why you people are scared of that - but hey, to each his/her own. The fact that you are a scared little baby does not bother me. I understand that you might wet your pants because you are walking down a big scary street -- oooh, scary, the "others" might get me.

I did it a hundred times or so and its really no issue. It takes about 10-12 minutes to walk from say Sullivan's to my place (take West) - depending on how out-of-shape you are. If you are a huge pussy and need to drive, it takes about 1 minute.

Why on earth would you pay over $1000 to rent anywhere in Raleigh? Especially if you're only going to be paying off another guy's mortgage. For $1750 a month, I could OWN two 1000sf condos where I live now and still have money left over. For the record, I live in Raleigh, close to downtown, within walking distance of a grocery store, drug store and restaurants and 1/2 mile from a greenway.

The Cotton Mill is pretty swank. I'll give it that much. But the only things within easy walking distance are a gas station and Jersey Mikes. But I guess people pay a premium to have that prestigous Capial Boulevard address.

There is an idea. I will buy 2 1000 sq ft condos. I'll put my bed in one and my office in the other. I hope they are close together.

Rob/Matt whoever you are, you're quite the charmer.

Are you surprised that you're getting no serious responses here? Let the agent handle it, that's what they're paid to do. You're probably doing more harm than good with your comments.

Its a better idea than renting one condo for $1700 from a grumpy landlord.
