anyone have a job that pays them to go back to school in a graduate program (i.e.: being in class counts toward your 40hrs/wk or whatever)?
if so, where at and are they hiring? 1/13/2008 3:38:49 PM |

My job is paying for my Master's degree but they're not actually counting class time towards my 40hrs/week; just reimbursing for GRE, tuition, and books.

I think my company will pay half of T&F as long as it's a degree that aligns with your job/career. Sorry, no MFA in Underwater Basketweaving! 1/13/2008 4:09:52 PM |

come to school in sweden, you may not get a paycheck (although you can if you really want to press the swedish govt) but school is free. 1/13/2008 4:35:40 PM |

some fed agencies(not all of them do but a good portion)
also i think they have some recruitment tool where they forgive your federal student loans after a certain amount of time...not sure if it is something they are working on or if it is already in affect.

SLRP (student loan repayment program) in the national guard at least, not sure about other federal agencies.
there are some stipulations though - not sure if they'll pay for grad degrees or not... 1/14/2008 12:16:47 AM |

i get 100% reimbursed with no commitment. i can bounce the day i graduate if i want. i do have to pay for books though, but im fine with that if they're going to pay my ~$9k a semester bill. 1/14/2008 8:48:02 AM |

A lot of graduate school programs will pay tution, fees, insurances, and a salary for teaching or research if you did really good as an undergraduate. 1/14/2008 8:58:07 AM |
