actually, you don't need one if you are using surround sound. This box is made to take DVI out and audio out and put it in one HDMI cable. You can get DVI to HDMI for MUCH cheaper, but it doesn't contain the audio. If you have external surround sound, just run the audio through that.

i have coax digital out on my sound card, i want to carry both vid and audio to my tv/surround sound

i'd rather invest in 1 HDMI cable than a DVI and coax digital cable
