Needs: Wi-Fi, excellent call quality, MS Exchange, Gmail
Wants: ability to install or somehow use custom formula calculators (i.e. BMI calculator...either from a webpage or as an installed app)

Don't really want to have to upgrade my plan...also open to other suggestions, and possibly switching carriers if it's that much better somewhere else

the tilt is really nice

i know what you're going to be using this for (i got one for the same reason)

and you really want something like the tilt... especially since it has windows mobile... all the apps made for your intended purpose are for windows mobile.

i prefer the tilt. good overall call quality, decent reception. doesn't crash or lag (if at all). better with wm7 upgrade.

could use a better proc and more ram though.

pretty cool looking phone (tilt)

I wish the damn blackberry's had 3G... I'd rather get a blackberry than a treo for my next phone but 3G/tethering is a must for

there are only leaked pictures of wm7 - it doesn't appear to be usable in the near future - a leaked version of 6.1 is just now being put into roms in the past few weeks

sound crazy, but i snagged something from a friend that had wm7 alpha all over it and when it worked, it did so well.

The new king daddy Sony Ericsson phone is going to have wm7 on it but no 3g for some reason even though all their high end phones right now have 3g.... dear Sony Ericsson don't be retarded give it 3g and i will come.

http://www.mobiledia.com/news/64934.html

Sony's website mentions edge but not 3g yet.
But that link says

Except exchange server doesn't like it which makes it useless in the business world for the time being.

well yeah, but i don't know who would want the iphone as a corporate device over the blackberry except image related businesses like fashion, talent agencies, model agencies etc. but it sounds like exchange support for the iphone might be announced within the next month or so

Should I wait and see what changes are made to the iPhone in the coming months? It's pretty likely that it will be 3G, which is good, but if they also added Exchange support at the same time I'd buy instantly.
