Yeh, I lived in Wilmington from 1994 to 2002 (and then somewhat between 2002-2005 when I was in College) and traffic has gotten worse every year. I haven't been back since Fall '06 and dont plan on going back - I can only imagine how bad it is now.

Everything else was pretty good about it - multiple beaches, nice restaurants, nice downtown, some places are fairly cheap for housing (ie UNCW), and a relatively young crowd.

The thing about Wilmington traffic isn't necessarily that it's heavy or slow - although it is. It's the fact that you'll almost be killed by some idiot every single time you drive somewhere.

Wilmywood rocks mayne. I grew up there and the college life is pretty good. only thing is fucking tourys at the WB are relentless and it gets super crowded there, also the parking meters are gay as aids.
other than that it's got everything u need!
