out there? I have a blackberry, and two computers I want synced. I have my calendars syncing, emails syncing, but not contacts.
I tried looking at plaxo, but it royally fucked up my contact list and it's still in beta.
Is there anything out there that will sync from Thunderbird to blackberry? 1/21/2008 9:07:37 PM |

there is for windows mobile
there must be an easy solution to this though - google should pull up plenty of free solutions for backing up your contact list 1/21/2008 9:13:25 PM |

yeah, I'd would expect there would be something for blackberry since it is a business centered smart phone. Windows mobile is nice since you can sync with outlook. When I used my pda a lot, I had it synced with my desktop back in the day. 1/21/2008 9:43:05 PM |

There is a surprising lack of products to do this. I prefer a wireless automatic sync but would settle for a manual. I would pay for software to do this.
Outlook is ages behind on ical syncs, so i use thunderbird/lightning. They're ages behind on contact management. It's not.a difficult task. I could write something to do this if I had the time.
All google turns up is message boards of people bitching just like me i of course consulted google before i came here. 1/21/2008 11:21:16 PM |

I know what you mean. Plaxo is pretty much the best thing out there I could find... make a backup of your list first. Once it gets over the whole duplicate thing, it's not that bad. 1/22/2008 1:21:42 AM |
