Hey guys I was wondering if yall could help me out with something. I use wireless internet for my laptop and run it through a netgear router. Most of the time my internet runs just fine but sometimes it runs slow for some reason. I was hoping someone could tell me why this might happen. 1/23/2008 10:14:28 AM |

Have you restarted the router and your cable/DSL modem and it continues to happen?
Also is your connection open or password protected? If its open it could be a sign somebody else is using the hell outta your bandwidth. 1/23/2008 10:17:52 AM |

I'd bet someone is "sharing" your wireless router. 1/23/2008 7:44:35 PM |

My router is password protected so nobody except my two roomates use the router. It's not just on my computer either. My roomates say their internet started working really slowly too. I'm gonna try restarting my router and modem later to see if that works but I can't explain this. 1/24/2008 10:44:55 AM |
