I have a 2nd generation 20gb Ipod and the battery is now officially worthless. Is there anything I can do besides getting raped by Apple and getting them to replace it. Is this problem common with Ipods or normal after a few years? 1/25/2008 12:01:46 PM |

Easy fairly cheap fix. Do a search on IPOD repairs on google for batteries. I replaced a friends cracked video screen on their IPOD video. Not hard if you have some dexterity and patience.

it's common for any and all Li-Ion batteries, including ipods, cell phones, laptops, etc. if you have a 2G ipod, it is at least 5 years old, so you're lucky it's working at all1/25/2008 1:26:23 PM |
