So I was in Barnes and Noble in Cary and this guy, allegedly the regional manager of DeWalt, rants on and on about how ugly he is and about how he's never had a girlfriend and how he might turn gay.

He asked me what I thought, and being the big help that I am, and not wanting to come across as gay in front of the girl that was there, I say, "I don't know...you're about a five, but since you're getting plastic surgery, I guess you could be an eight."

This girl and I try to reassure him and he goes on like a broken record about his homeliness and his virginity and how money doesn't make him happy and how he's getting plastic surgery.

He says, "Thanks for your honesty, everyone's been telling me I was an 8. I guess they're all liars."


He leaves for like 10 minutes and says that he's ingested 6 Oxycodone and about to take 20 more. Then, B + N calls the cops and he leaves.

So...I think I might have assisted in a suicide.

But seriously, though, don't feel like you aided this guy in committing suicide. I mean, one person does not have that much control of the life of another, and chances are that no matter what you had said to him he would have tried to spin it into something negative about himself. Could have been depression, could have been any number of things... regardless, some large part of this guy's mind wanted to kill himself, and was planning to regardless of what you said to him.

There were four of the comfy chairs around a coffee table. He was across from me (longways) and the girl was 90 degrees to my right.

They were talking to each other and then the subject of prom came up and when they said that they both, "went stag" to their proms, I snickered and he called me out on it.

He wouldn't give either of us his name. The only details I got from him were: he was in Navy Special Ops, he's 23, he's regional manager of DeWalt, lives in Apex, never had a girlfriend, and used to be really fat.

26 percocet is likely 130mg of oxycodone.

assuming he had access to more than 20 at once, and took 6 as a base dose, chances are that he has a little drug problem to begin with. in other words, anyone who starts at 6 and THEN knows they need to go take 20 more to attempt suicide.... they have very likely taken 6 on numerous occasions

now, the acetaminophen could cause him some problems, but not that much (once again, especially if he is used to it. im thinking long term there)

i wouldn't sweat it. unless he totally went off into the woods to pass out, he'll be fine. even if he is non-tolerant.

they could have been some really old 160s from like 8 years ago before purdue stopped them!!1 i wonder if teva made 160s. nah. anyways

but seriously my point was that they were most likely something liek 5/325 just because he had 26 of them or so. plus he took 6, and then went back for more. in my worst, i could go through 3 80s without a problem, but 6 would put me down, and i had a bigtime problem. no way they were 80s. 6 would have been more than enough. to make him think he was going down. and 20 more. i mean, i had a friend come over and give me a handful of msir 30mgs one night, and he was dead the next day. in other words, i think if they were that strong he wouldnt have wasted them.

thats where i pulled 5mg out of thin air and assumed percocet. since youre not gonna find many people ever with 26 80mg oxycontin pills.
