if you do, what are your thoughts/experiences with it? 1/28/2008 1:08:50 AM |

I used Rhapsody for about 2 years. I thought it was fine, but decided to cancel it when I got my iPhone and pretty much stopped using it altogether (not because iTunes was better but because I wasn't at the computer very much). I never tried using it with a portable device. I know Stein still uses it and he did use it with a portable device. So if you are planning to use it for that he'll have information in that regard.
Overall I liked the service. The only problem I had was trying to cancel, which you can't do online... I was on the phone for about an hour, which was quite lame.] 1/28/2008 1:39:30 AM |

I used the Rhapsody-to-go service for a while with my Sansa, however I wasn't terribly impressed. I had trouble every so often syncing the Sansa to Rhapsody and you have to sync the "to-go" tracks about once every 3 days which means if you go on a multi-day trip you might be screwed." |

If you need something on your computer, just use internet radio ... I suggest pandora.com
If you need mp3s, use a different service, like itunes or even walmart.com 1/28/2008 8:49:51 AM |

Pandora is nice, though it doesn't cater to the same kind of "on-demand" nature that Rhapsody does.
They actually compliment each other very well, though. 1/28/2008 9:08:08 AM |
