synapse, I've bit my tongue on this shit for long enough.... It has been both a spoken and unspoken rule handed down from the site author himself that moderators are not to provoke site users. They are supposed to moderate instead. Yes, I know that rules are bent every once in a while, but lately I've noticed that many of your posts are IN the feedback forum where you are doing nothing but talking shit to the users of this site. Many times, your shit talking is in response to users that are already suspended. That's great and all......but seriously, eat a dick. This behavior only started once you became a moderator.


Since you are a site moderator, I would strongly encourage you to keep your bullshit in chit chat (or classifieds). 'Feedback Forum is no longer Chit Chat #2' goes both ways bitch. This was both a serious and direct thread asking questions in both a serious and direct manner. Shit on me, and I'll shit right back on your forehead.

Many times, even users such as myself cannot get a response on certain issues from the moderators themselves (who nael has apparently handed the majority of the responsibility over to). Excluding a very specific few (nael included) you all are doing a shit job of not taking the CrazyJ approach to things....yes, the very thing that you hated him doing to you.

What does nael have to do with this? hahhaha, how about this: He will actually respond, welcome, and implement suggestions from site users without treating the site patrons like toddlers.

have you lost your mind? bigman was suspended for an auto-logout script!! its cause and effect. you post that kind of code and a mod sees it, you'll get suspended. so yes, what the hell does nael have to do with it? he didn't suspend anyone. and i'm sure you he'll back up whoever did the suspending. if you wanna get in touch with him, send him a pm. i guarantee you it'll be more effective than "calling him out."

actually, nael operates in a very strange way (from my dealings with him). almost like your local congressman. you can write him, but the only way to really reach him is to go through one of his bitches. he's pimp like that. he took it one step farther than crazyj. in a sense, he uses the moderators as mediators.

at first he was very open to pms and very quick to respond. as of late i've noticed that lots of his messages come through the moderators and he's not so inclined to write people back anymore. maybe he's just busy. i hope so. he had some pretty interesting things to say in PM a few months ago that i've never heard back on.

but whatever. i think that 99% of us would be happy if the mods used the same rules across the board. evan has abused html plenty. i've seen tons of other users use the HTML 'commenting' (ghost edit principle) to remove whole blocks of posts from threads, and no one cared to stop that. even when we posted right there in the thread, HTML abuse.

not all of us are asskissers by design, and that shouldnt be a factor in whether or not we get suspended for the same stuff that the asskissers do.

Yes, I am fairly sure that nael did not do the suspending. As I mentioned before, many moderators will not even respond to users when questions are asked via PM. Only when complaints and questions are aired in 'public', i.e., Feedback Forum. I recall mentioning something about handing the day to day operation of TWW over to site moderators.

If you, synapse, had nothing to do with the suspension ,have nothing of merit to add to my questioning, or are the owner of http://www.thewolfweb.com ....then you feedback is not called for or needed. Anything else that you could possibly think of to type is pretty much shit talk.

nothing against evan, but shouldnt you guys treat any html abuse the same way, especially since the main known tww exploit (sessionstealer.tww.Z) only effective when piggybacked onto malicious HTML?

in other words, shouldn't tww treat all violations just as seriously? whats the difference between making me log out, and making my screen flip backwards?

i have trouble reading backwards, but it looks like that was made on 1/29 at 10 something AM. i dont know if you mean yesterday as in its 45 minutes into the 30th or what, but it looks like he still has html rights and is still posting. and there are basically 2 levels of html abuse

1) to be annoying
2) to be malicious

both autologouts and mirror styling fall under #1. i think we can all agree, and i think the only fair way to handle it is to let bigman have his account back, and then set some kind of "official" guideline so that people are treated the same
