i bought some pvc drain pipe and a k&n filter for my 89 civic hatchback, my friends told me it would add 20hp, but i don't know how to put it on

just kinda set it in there

it will figure itself out and youll get that extra 20 hp

if it is really good you may see almost 30 hp, but i think that you have to add a turbonator

they also told me i could polish the ports with blasting media through the intake, but there are so many kinds, would 80 grit work?

dont bother with store bought media, playground sand works fine as does used kitty litter.

cool, i have plenty of kitty litter in the driveway to soak up al the oil



do the platinum +4 plugs really add 10hp too? i'm already pushing 300whp

when you do this, just make sure that you leave the engine on

it will polish both sides and bore it out a bit, you should get some more hp here

Dont forget the blinker fluid and the muffler bearings while you're at it.

Two cheap mods that provide a decent amout of p0w3R for the money.

Just make sure it's J-Spec fluid you use, as the DOT3 shit is crap.
