at least when unc beats you, every thing is clear and upfront, they just come out and jump up your ass with superior talent. sure they get calls, but they arent out there flopping around to be for them. like near the end of hte game when hickson barely extends his arm and thomas acts like he got hit by a fucking haymaker

Way back in the day when most of ACC basketball was integrating, Duke stayed mostly white, and those guys played dirtier than a motherfucker and got away with it on their whiteness. They got away with it for so long that now it's just their "style."

This is the part I agree with most. I mean I was upset during the UNC game because of some bad calls, but at the end of the game I didn't feel like we completely hosed. We just ran into a buzzsaw. There isn't a consistently more unlikable group of white basketball players anywhere in the world. Seriously. I guarantee you that the black guys on Duke don't bother you when you really think about it. Over the years it's always been the faggoty, way too hyped up, non talented white guys who do. It's funny. I had a similar thought after watching this game last night, at least UNC just beats us straight up. Maybe there are a few calls we complain about here or there but not this consistent dirty play, pitiful flops and just the pansiness that makes me question the manhood of certain players year in year out.

When UNC beat us this year, i felt we didn't just show up to play that night, as much as I hated that team in light blue there wasn't much I could say against their win. Last night we still need to learn how to compete for 40 mins and not back down when things go against us but good grief half of the "defensive" crap that occurred was enough to make me want to punch someone.
