ATSC-NTSC-and QAM Tuners with recording fearfures...

QAM is hella easy- Hook up your regular cable line from outside and get about 120 channels with 10 HD

haha- no its really not that much money.... TWC you can go $39.99 a month and add $10 for hD box so looking at $50...

A little know fact about direct TV is that ALL THEIR STATIONS ARE HD atleast 720p.... so u pick up a basic cable packwhich runs $36.99 before any promos (and as a self proclaimed noob) never notice any difference in clarity between 1080i which on pre 2006 set u really can't tell and get everything in relative high def. Or dish network is similar in HD broadcasting trying to out do twc runs a meger $24.99 a month-

NO offense sir but if you can't afford $6.25 a week for cable u might want to return the hdtv

or- all asshole-ness asside... go with the above link- Its the one I used when i got my first hd-ready set and decided I was never paying for cable again

aight so i went to TWCs site and i see this under their pricing section. So does this mean that we would get the basic cable digital package for 16.62? or would it be the basic for 12.25 plus the 16.62 a month? pretty much i just wanna know how much it would be a month to get basic channels with the HDTV tuner box?

Digital Package (Digital Service, Digital Box and Remote Control) $16.62
