new versions of Azureus have way too many extra features, that whole video browser is bullshit.
i don't want a bunch of softcore porn clips popping up everytime i open that shit.

i reverted back to yABC. simplicity.

utorrent is the only acceptable answer to this

azureus is java based and therefore a memory hog/clunky/big

utorrent is fast, small, and works perfectly.

Ah, let me tell my story.

At first I would use the generic torrent client, but after a while I wanted a little more. Azureus gave me that and worked well, the memory usage was heavy, but not prohibitive. Then they upgraded it to the Zune spyware crap - essentially sold out.

I then tried a few others, ABC wasn't very great I remember. mutorrent seemed AWESOME on the surface, but after a little while of using it, I discovered it was using up resources like a pig. Seriously, it's light, but it'll kill your connection, don't plan on doing something else while it's downloading something. There might be ways of tweaking this, but this is just my experience.

But then I went back to like the 2.5 version of Azerus. That is the shit, does exactly what I want it to, maybe is a little bigger than it needs to be, but it's really not a problem even on the slowest of my computers. It'll ask you to upgrade all the time, but just don't do it.

end of story.

Been using uTorrent for a long time. Fast, small, stable. I love the RSS feature so I can set it and forget it.

I dont' use BT anymore, but when I do I still use Azureus. I like being able to limit my uploads to 5kb/s without affecting my download speeds.
