i have to go through this intersection multiple times a day

i don't turn left often from avent ferry onto tryon but i will never forget sitting there for 5 minutes one day

and since i am moving to Crescent Ridge I'll probably be making that left turn more often

I usually cringe at the thought of a new traffic light but this one is long over due

Hopefully they switch it to a blinking light at night. I wish they switched more lights to blinking at nights. Pisses me off when i have to wait for a turn like 3 mins for the light to change meanwhile a sloth could have made it across the intersection.

^^It's not active yet...the lights are mounted but they still haven't pulled the bags off the signals. It looks like it will be any day now.

i'm pretty much an expert on getting down tryon quickly

there is one light they built at the church near where that new tryon village place is

i can't figure out why the hell they put a light there before they did this one - maybe its because all the rich people in the church used their power to get it i dunno

i can't stand getting stopped by it

The worst lights are the ones on US64 heading into Raleigh. To be a main fucking road into Raleigh coming from Chatham county i tend to hit a lot of the red lights to let one fucking pick-up pull out.

^we wouldn't need one if people knew how to quickly, efficiently negotiate a 3-way stop
