if i did #1, with as fast and sloppy as i write, it would probably start to look like a 9 (the two already are very close as it is with my handwriting) 2/5/2008 11:05:01 AM

why would you take two strokes to write a single digit?
that's dumb
that's like writing the number 8 by drawing a S, then adding a / 2/5/2008 11:31:59 AM

Format #2. My writing is very messy, and if I try to one-stroke it, a 9 with a funny tail usually results. This is particularly exacerbated by the fact that my '9's have straight rather than curved lower parts. 2/5/2008 11:45:47 AM

Like the second one.
But the real question is...
do you draw the loop in the bottom of your 2's?
I used to, but stopped about 14 years ago for some reason and never went back. 2/5/2008 12:53:07 PM

Used to be #1 (my father is an engineer and does his that way), but about midway through elementary school I changed over to #2 because I had a bitch of a teacher that started counting off because she felt that my 4s looked too much like 9s despite the fact that you'd have to be a complete tard to get the kind of answers she was accusing me of giving (2x7=19?).
Now that I'm no longer in school I've considered switching back. 2/5/2008 1:04:30 PM
