and here's another question.. if Raycom does actually have their own HD cameras (or getting them from somewhere to use on Saturday) then why can't they do more than 2 games without ESPN in HD?

UNC wasn't the ones that originated playing Jump Around during games to get the crowd hype. Wisconsin has been doing it for years at football games in between the 3rd and 4th quarter, and it has carried over to basketball for them. It is absolutely insane how crazy Camp Randall Stadium gets when they play that.

we will lose this game but damn we need a W bad. I mean if we can pull this one out of our asses I can see us winning 9 or 10 games but this is the type of game that we just haven't been able to compete in recently. I don't like the way we match up with MD one bit.

maryland has been playing well lately (won 3 in a row), but i think we can match up well with them. gist will be our biggest concern inside and vasquez has the potential to murder us with our inexperience at the point. i think we'll do better than expected, but still lose.

I actually like our chances in this game....Hickson>Gist. Fells/Grant will have to shut down Vasquez.

Plus Maryland is not a great 3-shooting team which is our weakness.

i like our chances too, i just don't think we'll pull this one out on the road. maryland is a tough place to play. if we can put fells on vasquez we'll have a better shot then if javi is stuck guarding him.

Definitely a loss.

Some of you are ignoring the fact that they have Osby too and he is like Ben Wallace junior. I just do not see Hickson playing well against Gist and Osby and I think Vasquez is going to exploit our weak perimeter D (just like Paulus did).

Plus Maryland is hot and are playing at home. We suck ass on the road and especially against good teams (see UNC, Duke, MSU, and Clempson). If this game were in Raleigh, I would be more optimistic, but I think this a good game to bet Maryland to beat the spread.

I hope and pray to God that we win though. It would be huge for our season and tourney hopes.
