I would say get a premie, but thats not such a good idea since your accounts get arbitrarily suspended. 2/10/2008 10:44:22 AM |

we've noticed the issue and are working to fix it. its a server problem on the ad side and if its not fixed shortly, we will remove them until it gets better. it should be fixed within the next few hours, if not, the ads will be taken down until the lag is fixed. 2/12/2008 3:55:19 PM |

this has been an issue since the new ads were introduced
is there anyway that the html could be coded to load the ads last? then it would not keep the rest of the page from loading 2/12/2008 4:36:11 PM |

no, its not. while the ad javascript is not in the head tag it IS at the top of the page before the content. instead of putting the ad script there with a 1995ish "document.write", put the script at the bottom of the page down where the google analytics code is and do a document.getElementId('adArea').innerHTML replace. as it is now the rest of the page can't render until the ads are loaded.2/12/2008 10:57:51 PM |

^ THAT SEEMS LIKE A BETTER SOLUTION
I mean the ad company obviously is not going to fix the slow load times. 2/12/2008 11:03:41 PM |
