one is based on opinion, the other is based on actual game results. And Tennessee has played a good enough schedule that SOS isnt an issue... let me check what theirs is... was #7 a few weeks ago

well, would you look at that... its not longer #7, its #2 now... and #1 overall RPI... so its not at all like Ohio State in football now is it?


^ yes, of course, they play a lot more games, home and home in the same season, lot more out of conference games... I would definitely say a good team (Ohio State) can get through a football schedule undefeated (and then get destroyed in the NC game) a lot easier than a similar team in bball. You dont get to 23-2 in bball without being a good team... and all of this doesnt even matter because they have the #2 SOS
