It ran great on my old AMD x64 3200+ with a 6800GS and 1GB of RAM. Here are the minimum specs I could dig up.

Recommended:

* 3 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
* 1 GB System RAM
* ATI X800 series, Nvidia GeForce 6800 series, or higher video card

Minimum System Requirements:

* Windows XP
* 512MB System RAM
* 2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
* 128MB Direct3D compatible video card
* and DirectX 9.0 compatible driver;
* 8x DVD-ROM drive
* 4.6 GB free hard disk space
* DirectX 9.0c (included)
* DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card

Great game. It really is.

it nets you hundreds of hours of play time if you allow yourself to get sucked into it. I had more than 200 hours play time on just one character in this game. Main quest only takes about 15-20 hours. That's how many side quests are in this damn game.

Bottom line: this shit is offline WoW.

my favorite game in a LONG time...i've got a bit over 100 hours in it on one character and about 60 with another

the shivering isles expansion has added a generous amount of hours and has been fun
