stand in the wendy's parking lot and throw the potato at their glass window

if it breaks the window that should be good proof that the potato was shitty

I'm almost positive that they gave you a geode after mistaking it for a potato.

You should take it by the natural science museum and get an expert opinion.

^i've called the 1800 number and they assure me this is impossible, but they are awarding me 10 more chances to find another geode free of charge.

The off-white center was probably Internal Brown Spot or Internal Heat Necrosis. It is generally a function of high heat during the bulking stage. Nothing to be concerned about -- strictly cosmetic

Not a big fan of their potato, though I tend to douse it with their chili whenever I HAVE to eat there

He keeps the butter packs next to his balls so they will be nice and warm for people.

^Well, given how easy it is to make a baked potato (wrap in cling wrap, throw in microwave for a few mins), you'd think it wouldn't be an issue. But then again, any fast food establishment is probably using the absolute lowest common denominator when it comes to potatoes. They are buying the ones that Wal-Mart passed up on.

prob just that particular Wendy's sucks, I bet

well I'm not really into baked potatoes but yeah, you're prob right that they use crappy ones

I remember that Wendy's up on Western was like never good on any level, but the one I go to here is pretty consistently good quality

also I've learned never to take Wendy's to go

if you don't eat it there, it seems to get bad inordinately quickly :3

God damn, are you living in the 90s???

FAT != BAD necessarily

(the fat is coming from almonds, coconut, cocoa, avocado, and walnuts... all very healthy foods)

[Edited on November 6, 2015 at 8:49 PM. Reason : leave the cake for me... you stick with your Wendy's ]

one serving of that cake has 77% of the recommended daily saturated fat a person should consume

but throw some vegetables in a cake and tell yourself its healthy

i guarantee you a baked potato from Wendy's is healthier than a chocolate cake

it is a treat, not a meal. have half a serving.

cut out the coconut oil and replace with olive oil, and voila, nearly all the saturated fat is gone.

by the way, not all saturated fats are the same... did you even know that? or like most people you think there is one monolithic saturated fat?

the saturated fat in coconuts comes from medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). MCTs are different from the saturated fats found in animal products. they are burnt up for energy more readily rather than stored as fat. plus, they are far less likely to increase your cholesterol level.

don't talk about stuff you obviously know very little about.

here, i found the perfect diet for you and others whose knowledge of food is stuck in the 70s:

I'll tell you what. The new ranch for Wendy's nuggets is disgusting! The first time I tried it, I threw it out because I thought it molded and congealed. Tried it again and got the same consistency.
Avoid at all costs! D-

^^^ more potassium than any other fruit or vegetable, including bananas. one medium potato gives you almost half of your daily recommended Vitamin C. great source of Vitamin B6. good source of dietary fiber. good source of simple and complex carbohydrates. 110 calories and very filling. fat free. non-GMO and gluten free (if you're concerned about that sort of thing). inexpensive and versatile.

^ vitamin C is 20-30% of your daily allowance in a small to medium sized potato.

potassium, yes, one of the top sources, higher than most plant foods, but not the highest. some foods (some leafy greens, squashes, and beans) have marginally higher amounts -- 10-20% more -- in typically consumed quantities of said foods.

another benefit, buzzing lately:

if you cook and cool them in the fridge and have them the next day (cold or heated), you convert some of the starch into resistant starch, which is indigestible by us and acts as a source of food for beneficial bacteria in our lower gut.

in other words, not only do you reduce the calories in the potato (and thus its Glycemic Index) and experience the same satiety, you also improve your GI tract's -- and consequently your whole body's -- health!

the same can be done with rice, sweet potatoes, and some other starch-rich foods.
