So last night, I was hanging out with this Christian girl for the first time in ages and she takes me out to Ruby Tuesdays, for whatever reason. We start talking about old times and she apologizes for leading me on and breaking my heart about two years ago, but she goes on to tell me that I'm the sweetest and innocent guy she's ever known and the only guy to stick with her as a friend.

We go back to her place and listen to the old University Singers CD's and call up one of the other ladies I used to hang out with (collectively, the chicks I used to hang out with dubbed themselves, "The Pussy Posse"). So, she comes over and all three of us talk for hours.

We get on the topic of pregnancy scares and I bring up the point that I had a pregnancy scare last year with my then-girlfriend. There was a beat, as they deduced what had to happen to result in a pregnancy scare, followed by an awkward pause and then several sighs of disappointment.

The 2nd chick was cool. She was always open with her sexuality, too open to be honest. But my Christian friend really wouldn't talk to me anymore and I feel really bad.

Therein lies the problem. During their twenties, people just want to get out and have fun and not be tied down while they're young. Then in 10 years or so, all of a sudden they aren't as cute(and not getting any more attractive) and realize that they shouldn't have partied so much and instead should have worked on finding some decent guy to settle down with.

No advantage for guys by looks, I think there are an equal number of good looking men and women past their 40's. Both are far less than the number of people who look like shit after the mere age of 25. Eating right and exercising holds equal for both sexes.

But because men can be completely unhealthy and unattractive and still get laid, men clearly have an advantage.

The really pure girls from my church are pretty much all married now. There are some more moderate minded girls from church that are still single, but seem to be enjoying life just fine.

The ones I hung out with outside of church more are all still single.

I don't know if the church girls are bwning or not but what I have gathered from this is people that put off bwning for marriage get married a lot younger.

Who knows which is right or wrong, but I know how I am, and commitments are something I always procrastinate when possible.
