What protects TWW or a paid subscriber thereto from being sued in a court of law for embedding or otherwise distributing copyrighted content in a post on this Web site?

So it's the storage of copyrighted content that breaks the law?

I can see that.

Hotlinking is like standing on a street corner pointing at a guy who's playing copyrighted music to get paid. Just curious.
